Some Comments!!!

My gosh!!!! what the f..!!!!

My first chapter have been reviewed for my Supervisor... forget it!!! there are no good news... if I have to talk seriously, I could say, the chapter has to be redo!!! As susual I spoke to him this morning, the first thing he asked me was: Are you depressed? I said: NO.. i'm fine. but I was really sad... this guy just filled up my document with red comments!!! of course I'm happy in one sense... it was a real review... very detailed and proposing new ideas for the chpater... good.. but still a lot of work to go in this chapter!!!

This is a copy of the email I recieved this morning:

Some remarks about the things you have to do:
1- put the reference at the end in the harvard citation standard style (which is the standard for MA dissertation and beyond).
2- review the part where you talk about the IBM 360 and the waterfall model in more detail (or more clearly presented).
3- in one part, you relie too much on Boehm paper which is fine as a start but try to work it out step by step.
4- need to say something about the software industry itself (the microsoft part somewhere) which is always accompanied of change in hardware.
5- put the plan of the Master before the first page of your document, so we have a sense of the overall work (even if the plan changes).
6- I think that there is a lot of work that you can re-use by formatting differently this part. Here in this part, keep it simple, have far less part (perhaps 3: 1, 2, 3) and not sub-division and sub-sub division that make it too difficult.
The other parts (as I mention it in the text, and sometimes you can see for yourself) you can use them as the first draft of the chapter 2, 3 and 4. So you can do some copy and paste in the new chapters already, which is work that has not been done in vain.

Dios mio!!!! que paso..hijue!!!

Mi primer capitulo fue revisado, olvidenlo!!! no son buenas noticias... habalndo seriamente tengo que volver a hacer el capitulo de nuevo. Como siempre yo hable con el esta manana, lo primero que me pregunto fue: esta deprimido y yo dije NO.. estoy bien. pero la verdad estaba muy triste.. este man relleno de rojo todo el documento!!! claro, yo estoy contento en un sentido y es que fue una buena revision... muy detallada y proponiendo nuevas ideas para el capitulo.. bueno.. pero queda mucho trabajo para terminar este capitulo!!!

Now... keep working on it.. there is no choice... Ahora seguir trabajando en eso.. no hay opcion...
